New piece up on YouTube:
presented last Spring at the CUE Conference on "The Myth of the 'Digital Native'." Great connection with Jeff Brain, who presented C_Gamer, a fascinating new topic for me. There's a pdf and a mov file at the CUE Community website.
...Did an interview with P.K. McCary on her show "The Peace Hour" on KPFT in Houston, the Texas Pacifica Affiliate, last Friday July 10, 2009. We talked about digital storytelling, having just met briefly at NextSpace in Santa Cruz, where i was consulting with Sun from Awake Media about video profiles, and, of course, digital storytelling...P.K. had already picked up the flyer for the digital storytelling workshops Graciela and i will be doning next week and the week after through the Central California Writing Project, and she called to ask if I would be willing to go on the show. It was great fun, and I look forward to P.K.'s return to this area.
